| August 23 High Ropes and Team Challenges |
| Are you ready for some team challenges and high ropes course? Are you tired of the concrete of the city and yearning for a chance to go outdoors and enjoy the nature?
Come join us for a day of exciting team challenges and high ropes course at the Iron Oaks Adventure Center!
About one hour drive away from Chicago, the center is situated on a 40-acre nature preserve and is home to a diversity of wildlife and habitat. Here you can see beautiful woods, wildflowers, birds and furry friends along the way. There are trails along both sides of the park.
Team Challengs
The Irons Oaks Teams Course consists of numerous low-to-the-ground, on-site activities. You?ll find the activities require teamwork, trust, communication, and problem-solving skills.
High Ropes
The course is a series of initiatives over 30 feet in the air. While hooked into your safety harness, try jumping from the platform onto the cargo net, walk hands-free across the log, then try it backwards while holding on to your partner. Enjoy a trip from swinging plank to swinging plank, then test your balance on a single cable stretched from tree to tree. Partners work closely together to physically support one another while providing encouragement to each other and to other team members on the course.
For a short video of these activities, please visit http://www.ironoaks.org/adventure.html
Cost
The maximum size of the group is 14. We reserved for 2 groups. Each group costs $490 that will cover the cost of both team challenges and high ropes. This comes down to $35/person. There is a transaction fee $1.35/per person. The caveat: We need to pay by July 21 to secure our reservation.
We will have a lunch break and you will need to bring your own food and drinks.
